I am Unapologetically Catholic, and think you should be too.

 

Our mission is to inquire into reality and, therefore, Christ, “in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” (Col 2:3.) Ours is the goal of theology—that is, reason asking questions of faith. We are constantly surprised by the multitude of angles by which one can approach the truth, goodness, and beauty of Christianity through metaphysics, ethics, phenomenology, epistemology, literature, history, mathematics, aesthetics, etc.

Our mission, then, is to seek Christ in all things so that all things may be found in Christ. Our preferred praxis is conversation and our hope is that you will heed the call to transcend your ego-drama and venture into the Theo-drama. You are invited to enter into an “I-Thou” relationship, into the dialogue of love where you and I become a “We,” and together we are found in Christ.

Unapologetically Catholic seeks to integrate and support local efforts in line with its mission. As a partner of UWG Catholic Center located in Carrollton, Ga, we promote their events and efforts to specifically reach young adults in their time of learning and growth during their college years.

In addition to teaching apologetics, mental health awareness, and social justice, we intend to facilitate in-person prayer groups, lectures, and discussion groups covering such topics as epistemology, morality, theology, apologetics, literature, science, history, etc.

Our larger outreach beyond our local community includes blogging, online group discussions, group chatting, podcasting, livestreaming, and creating YouTube videos in order to reach as many as we can to spread the Gospel and promote Christian apologetics and theology.
