I’m NOT saying she should stay how she is and keep living the way she has been but what I AM saying is, can we see if this sacrament is going to bear fruit? Can we just take 3 seconds to recognize that the grace conveyed in the sacraments is extremely powerful? It could all be for clicks and if that turns out to be the case, I’d happily admit I was wrong but could we just have a little bit of hope for at least a second?

I couldn’t understand the Catholic view of salvation for the longest time because I was starting with the presupposition that salvation was a declaration. When I understood that salvation was about a transformation, good works, sacraments, purgatory and so on made much more sense.

Miracles can and do happen through sacramentals IF God chooses to use them as conduits of miracles. Faith has to accompany them because they’re not superstitions or good luck charms. God can and does use the physical to bring about miracles.

It’s really hard for us to know if someone else is in a state of mortal sin or not based solely off observing their actions. I think that’s by design. We should absolutely be helping our brothers and sisters know what’s sin and avoid it, but it’s up to them to “work out your salvation with fear and trembling”.

2025 has been such a great year. It’s been full of laughs, tears, crazy experiences and everything in between. I’ve met some really awesome people, worked with some really awesome people/brands, had some really cool opportunities I would never have thought I’d have. My family has grown, my faith has grown and I’ve learned more than I could have imagined in life. I thank God and all of you (seriously, you guys ALL are genuinely the best) for such an awesome year and I can’t wait to see what happens in 2026.

Persevere through the spiritually dry spells. You may never experience a dry spell spiritually or you may be spiritually dry your entire life. Either way, you must persevere.

God can grant you that perseverance so if you feel like you can’t keep going. You’re right, you can’t… on your own. God wants to help and can help.

Ten years of marriage.

My wife and I are celebrating our ten year wedding anniversary today and I can say, without a doubt, that I have grown more in love with her over the years.

We have absolutely experience the “for better or worse” and “in sickness and in health” aspects in these ten years.

I love my wife dearly and thank God for her. There’s no one else I’d rather live this covenantal sacrament with. She absolutely helps me to live like the saint God has called me to be and I hope I do the same for her.

6 kids (and one on the way) and 10 years in, may God bless us with many more to come!

My reaction to a recent video put out by @chadwright278. If the Church ever taught that the pope could override a teaching in scripture, that would ABSOLUTELY be a terribly heretical teaching that everyone should run from, but that’s not what the Church teaches.
